The NK-180S is compatible with two 12V lead acid deep cycle batteries, as well as lighter-weight 12V lithium batteries. It offers two operating modes, 24V and 25.9V, to accommodate different battery options. This motor can greatly increase the effective range of any paddler on a given day, making it a valuable addition to your kayak gear.

The motor can be easily installed on a kayak's deck or bolted directly to a 4-bolt PowerPole style stern mount. Equipped with a durable aluminum motor head and a mount that pivots freely, it can navigate over underwater obstacles with ease. Additionally, steering cables can be set up to turn the motor like a rudder, or a pin can lock the motor in a forward drive position for use on SUPs and inflatable kayaks. The reverse function is enabled with a pull cord to keep the propeller from lifting out of the water while backing out of trouble.

The NK-180 motor offers a powerful and efficient 24V brushless motor, providing quiet and effective power delivery without the use of internal gears. Its 1.8hp equivalent direct drive motor can propel you along at speeds of up to 5 knots.

Included in the box are the motor, speed controller, emergency stop key, motor mount with quick release, 5ft battery cable kit, steering triangle, height adjustment collar, motor lift arm, steering cables, 4 nylon cords, and raise/lower & reverse lock handles, as well as installation hardware and an owner's manual.
